Quoting Process

Send us your tools in bulk, with or without a detailed packing list. We recommend sending your tools in their original tubes or that customers pack tools very carefully to avoid any damage during shipping. We will save you the time of sorting and organizing your tools, we have to do this anyways in order to quote. There is no such thing as too small of an order. No minimums. We have customers that send us 50 tools a week and some who only send us 10 tools a year. We will log your tools, inspection upon arrival and then write up a detailed quote by size, type and quantity. If we determine a specific tool isn't worth the time or money to sharpen we will advise and return to you. We try to have all quotes completed within 3 working days of received tools. Quotes can be faxed or emailed. If you don't like our quote we will simply return your tools. If the price is agreeable then we are to be issued a PO#. Once a Purchase Order is received we will begin the sharpening process and have your tools back as soon as possible.

Pricing

  • Pricing is mainly determined by tool condition, diameter, length, number of flutes, radius/chamfer, PVD coatings etc.
  • Pricing is based on the size of the tool and not the brand.
  • Less damaged tools cost less to repair.

Turnaround Time

  • Our typical turnaround is 7-8 working days for tools without coating. 14 working days for coated tools. 1 month typical for repair of tool holders at ITS.
  • The clock for the turnaround begins from the date of received PO#.

Payments Terms

  • We typically expect payment within 30 days of delivery of the order. Exceptions will be made if absolutely required.
  • We now accept most major credit cards as well. Any credit card payment after 30 days will be subject to a 3% credit fee.
